With the recently installation of tickets barriers, are southern gradually phasing out monthly tickets to London Bridge, and forcing people to use Oystercard. The reason why I say this is because at the moment it only costs £67 for a monthly ticket from Sydenham to London Bridge(only). On Oystercard it would cost around £100 because the journey from zone 3-1 is 2.50.
I wouldn't put anything past them....but I very much doubt it. Season tickets are a National Rail thing and can be bought between any two stations on the NR network. Sydenham will continue to have NR services when the Overground network comes along. the station is going to be shared between NR and LO.
