St George's Players (Forest Hill) Table Sale and BBQ Sat Jul

Hello there!

This may be of interest as Forest Hill is fairly close to Sydenham and we get a some SE26 people coming to our shows (thank you!), so sharing here.

St George's Players, a local am-dram group, are holding a table sale and BBQ to fundraise for their forthcoming production, 'Hound of the Baskervilles' (to be performed in October half term).

It's running from 11am-4pm on Saturday July 27th. Entry is £5 (to include admission and a food item such as a burger from the BBQ) or £1 for admission only. There will also be hot and cold beverages to purchase.

The BBQ will be in the church car park, and the sale in the church hall. If you would like to have a table at the sale, please contact 07914 778 959 or email info@st-georges-players.org.uk ASAP.

There are still tables available if anybody is interested - it'll be a fun day with the BBQ too so do some along!

Thank you for your suggestion! I did think about posting there but the last time I tried to put info about an event, it was classed as advertising and thus wasn't allowed!

Will definitely bear it in mind for our production this October.

Also, there still are some tables available for hire if anybody is interested!

Hmm, advertising on se23forum has been a bone of contention in the past. It seems disappointing that they will not accept a post for an amateur dramatic company. Certainly St Augustines, One Tree Hill posts re a number of events. Well worth having another try!
