Ric has signed on for Wednesday too, so got 4 coming from Balham with Swartie still to confirm (pretty sure he's in too, to be honest).

Sorry for lateness. Put me down for this Weds. I'll join the coalition to help make it up to the requisite 14...

You've left off Ryan too, so by my reckoning, we should have 14.

No worries mate; thanks for letting me know.

You still playing Nick & Parklife? OK to pop round to yours about quarter past (Parklife) for a lift?

I'm such a tart...I'll jump in anybody's car!

Good turn out tonight on the seven-a-side pitch.

Who's in for Wednesday 19 May at 8:30pm? Please post your availability by Monday lunchtime. If we get 14 confirmed by then I'll book the seven-a-side pitch again.

New players always welcome.

I'm in.

Droid is out.

OK; the social...

There seems to be a general consensus that Thursday is the preference and that a good few can make it.

So this evening I'll PM you all. Basically all you need to let me know by return is:

a) If you're in - and most are of that opinion thus far
b) If Thursday is your preference, or indeed Friday
c) If 7-7.30 is OK

I've ditched the idea of 'all eating' - it's too formal - and people can chow down if/as they see fit.

@ Lem: Can you please ask Aidan? It'd be great if he can make it but as he's not registered I've no way of making contact.

I'm in for next week.
Really enjoyed it last night but I think we need to look at how we select teams...anyone else agree?
They've been a bit unbalanced the last few weeks but last night was the first time people seemed to get genuinely hacked off about it.

Also enjoyed the 7,s pitch last night, nice to have a bit of space to loft the ball miles over the already sizeable goals. ( soz bout that guys )
In for next weeks game and also for the jolly up.

Without meaning it to become too draconian I think we need two [rolling] designated Captains who choose a player each (school playground stylee).

Then we get two teams based on descending/ascending-ish ability rather than who inadvertantly walks randomly to each goal pre-game?

I'm in for next week ,big pitch was excellent and we should even out the teams to start or mid-match if its one-sided.
