Erm...whilst I appreciate the kind words Sam I think we'll find that the referee was so cold and wet that at one point he completely forgot the score! I was more of a cheerleader trying to keep everyone going in the torrential rain.

Well done to everyone for turning up and and actually putting on a great game. It was good to watch from the sidelines - the standard has really improved immeasurably as our fitness levels have increased.

Just to echo Diamondmaker's comments re: non-attendance. Steve and Dave; you are regulars, always most welcome and generally reliable but it's bad form to just not bother your arse. You let everyone else down as I set the teams up a certain way and the kitty would have taken a hit had I not actually paid my £7 despite not playing...

Just to remind you - and everyone - that all you need do is send me a text or pop something on the forum. You can't just sign up and disappear. Personally, I'd fine you both and you'd pay double next time you turn up but Aidan's the gaffer for the next two weeks at least and he may have different ideas...

See you all when I get back.

OK, I've booked the 5 a side pitch this week, as we've only got 9 confirmed so far....

Schmozz, are you able to bring someone else along? That would bring us to 10. We might get a couple coming who haven't confirmed (Gus?).

Regarding people dropping out, might be worthwhile implementing a rule where if you've confirmed but haven't told us that you can't make it by say 4pm on the Wednesday, then you pay up anyway. Seems fair, but let me know what you think.

Great game tonight gents.

Schmozz, what's your mate's actual name? I heard him called at least 3 different names (Elroy? Abu? Veronica?)

Anyway, if you can confirm your availability next week as early as you can, that would be cool.

i'm in for next week, ibu is doubtful.
