Dropping out last minute and then informing the group the day after really is unacceptable.

I feel let down.

(On a plus note Greg, it appears the Voodoo spell you placed over Alex has no sign of wearing off, he drew another blank last night)

Another barren week like that Alex and you'll have to change your handle to 'Jaffa'.

Count me in for another 90 minutes next week please. And if someone can launch the ball over the fence to give us a couple of minutes break that would be helpful.

Hoist by one's own petard?

Guilty.

However, I really do have an excellent reason. One I may be able to share with the group next week. That'll get you thinking, or not!

Who got the goals last night then now that the donkey/Hansen (delete accordingly along party lines) wasn't playing at the back?

Unsure on the scorers, Joe P, Tricky and Gus were certainly in the mix, I helped myself to 3 as well after finally managing to work out what a goal was after last week's travesty.

Think it ended 6-6 in the end.

Just wanted to add that myself and many others mentioned how much more enjoyable it was playing with 13/14, so much more space and a bit more of an exciting game... Rolling subs would be my preference if we get over 14 in the coming weeks.

I'm in. Middlesborough - I'd be delighted to oblige, provided I didn't have to fetch it again.

Decent enough effort but wide of the mark.

I've still got some mincemeat left; think I'll make a toddy tart.

And David Carradine, strangley enough he was shooting a film called 'Stretch' at the time.

Gives new meaning to the 'five point palm exploding heart technique'? See what I did there...

Used to have Bernard Herrmann's 'Twisted Nerve' as my ringtone. Truly annoying!

Nice early commitment, well done lads.

Redhead - yes, there was more room for playing, so 7v7 with rolling subs if we go over the 14. The pitch is always empty after so we'll all get at least 60mins of play with a rest, which at my age is appreciated...!

1. Powell
2. Donny
3. Trickster
4. Redhead (recovery permitting)
5. Steve
6. Sawartie
7. Ulysses
8. Bazwaldo
9. Middlesbrough
10. Sydders
11. Marathon
12. Joe P
13. Biscuitman

So BalhamBen (current, not ex) is carrying a knock or two as is SydenhamSteve and yet neither I nor Aidan were there...

So unless you drafted Norman 'bite yer legs' Hunter in...how the f*ck?

Was Gus slipping and sliding again?
