Not wanting to step on Alex,s toes charity wise, but I'm doing the London to Brighton bike ride on the 19th June this year for the British Heart Foundation. You guys were fantastic last year on my last ride so it would be greatly received if you could see it into your hearts (No pun intended ) to dig south into your pockets again ............ Thank you.

Afternoon boys,

Once again pushing the Lokomotiv Firebox game. I've just booked the pitch at our usual Goals, details below;

MONDAY 4TH APRIL - 19:30 KICK OFF

So far there are 6 confirmed Sydenham Forum members, thanks very much guys. But, we need at least one more as we're on the 7-a-side pitch. (More than one is encouraged for roll on/roll off subs, i'd guess we'll be bringing slightly more than 7 so will be operating this policy) Anyone else fancy a Monday run out as well as the Wednesday? Promises to be a excellent spectacle and would be a great help.

It'll be £ 7.00 each, payable before wer go down to the pitch, as is normally the case on a Wednesday. Please get there 5-10 minutes prior to half seven so we can get the payment side of everything sorted quickly.

Cheers!

How dare you...but yes I'd like to play if you don't think we'll be too overloaded with players?

I was going to say yes for this Wednesday but with a proviso that I may need to pull out at the last minute, but seeing as the numbers are already over our recommended number - and it is not light enough to utilise an eleven-a-side pitch - think I will probably count myself out.

Gentlemen,

I pulled my groin last night. No, that is not a euphemism and neither was it self-inflicted (stop tittering at the back!).

But, I'm going to keep a watching brief on it. Happened early on in my Monday night game and I could hardly kick the ball...first prize to the person who says no change there then.

I will still come and will still pay but it might be that I play 2mins or the whole game...if I duck out mid-game it might help what sounds like a busy game anyway?

Nice one mate, shaping up to be a spicy encounter.

I'll stick a post on the forum on Friday confirming the team line ups.

Continuing with the Russian themed names - sort of - we could be known as the Syddersins?

As in citizens...commies...and all that?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, if I have to explain it then it must be cr*p. I know.

Trickster & Middlesbrough always room for founding members. FB4 hope you're ok mate! Ulysees see how you get on but its up to you - if you need me to pick you up closer to home drop me a text.

Redhead - shaping up for next monday; I'll aim for 7.30 but its going to be tight so you may have to start without me..

Cheers Donny, get there when you can, I make it 8 Sydenham gents so it'll be roll on roll off anyway so it shouldn't damage too much.

Greg, call yourself whatever you want, either way you're going to be blinded by how Orange our brand new kit is. It's almost obscene.

Not bad but I think Spartak Sydenham would be more appropriate with The Syddersins as our nickname?
