Hi lads

Sorry about this but I cannot play this evening (18th), I am stuck on site in Bournemouth and wont be finished until around 8.00pm at the earliest!! Major disaster here hence the late finish and late notice to you, I didn't realise it was this bad until now.

Sorry about this

See you next week

Guys,

Really sorry but I have to pull out for this evening as well.

The booking has been extended but there seems to be an issue, that mgmt are looking into, that may get in the way soon.

It seems that someone at their Head Office made a block booking of 24 weeks at the same time as my booking was being made, so there is a chance we could lose the 7's pitch in a couple of weeks time.

I have made clear by annoyance around this and Dwayne (the manager) is looking into it. I am sure he doesnt want to lose a regular booking from a team that has been using them for more than four years!

I will of course let you know what happens. I am confident that sensibility will prevail.....

See you soon

Booking issue resolved.

It seems I was mis-informed earlier and the 24 week booking is on the other 7's pitch. There has been a 4 week booking on our pitch.

So this is how it will be for the next few weeks:
18th (tonight): 7's
25th: 7's
2/9/16/23rd October: 5-a-side pitch
30th October: 7's for the next 24 weeks

I hope that is okay for everyone and it means the pitch is secured until mid-April.

He did drop a none too subtle hint about the number of cancellations we've had recently so we need to make sure there is sufficient - as he put it - commitment to make sure the pitch is being used each week.

They can help us get players if we find we are a little short.

Enjoy tonight and I will see you all soon

In for Wednesday and thanks to Nige for the block booking, small pitch for four weeks will be fine, may give me a chance to improve my first (second, third and subsequent) touches.
