Goals have just called to cancel the pitch for next week. The government advice has not changed so they are stuck at 3v3 and doors close at 8pm. ☹️

I’ll keep an eye on the news and as soon as the advice/instruction changes I’ll call them again.

There was a slight preference for 8pm so will try to book that, as it used to be at the previous home of football.

So I have just had a message from one of my boys’ tennis club stating that latest advice from LTA is that it is unlikely they will be able to return to full classes before September. I know it is not directly related but it is a group outdoor sport so it may be that Goals will be similar ☹️

Looks like Goals may get the go ahead to reopen from 25th July. Fingers crossed.

Government have released this framework to advise on possibility of catching Covid based on closeness of contact and duration (< or > 3 secs).

I think this means that Lachie is the safest person in the group.

So, Goals is open again for booking as normal.

I’ve booked the pitch for 8pm, 7-a-side if we can get the numbers. They don’t have any specific rules other than to observe general government guidelines.

Please let me know if you are in and I’ll have a look to see if there are any rules we need to pay attention to.

In for Wednesday 15th July.
