I’ve been contacted by someone interested in coming along.

To anyone interested, we play at Goals on Elmers End Road

https://www.goalsfootball.co.uk/clubs/ ... beckenham/

Wednesday 9-10pm on a 7–a-side Astro turf pitch. The skill level is variable - wantabee Sunday league with moments of premier league class (and vice versa) and pleasantly competitive. All are welcome.

You can PM me if you have any questions or post them on the forum for the community to answer.

In for Wednesday the 4th November, kick off 9pm at Goals on Elmers End Road.

1. Sam
2. Tope
3. JP
4. Ian
5. Sheeps
6. Mattk
7. Jonathan
8. Aaron
9. Bish
10. GaryC
11. MattR
12. Adam
13. Lucien
14. Ralph
15. JoeC
16. Middlesbrough

As you will no doubt have seen from the news, unless you you didn’t change channels so you could watch Strictly, lockdown starting Thursday will no doubt stop football for a few weeks at least.

I will contact you when I hear from Goals when they reopen (if they actually close - the championship is still continuing and there isn’t much difference).

Just went on the website and Goals do not have a pitch free on Wednesday.

Plenty free for Thursday, though not at a time we’d like...

I'm in if it's on. Wednesday or Thursday would work for me.

My post obviously wasn’t clear. Sorry.

We are fine, we do have a block booking and our slot is secure. I always check to see if I can get another pitch, just in case the numbers are high.

Whilst I was checking I also checked to see if future bookings were possible and was surprised to see that I could still book a pitch after the lockdown had been announced.

The site has now been updated and no future bookings are possible, so whilst I haven’t been contacted directly yet, I think it is safe to assume that tomorrow is our last game for a while.

Me and Chris are both in for this week, if there's still space of course.
