Marv has been told by the doc he's out for a month with a dodgy achilles. I've asked another mate and am awaiting a reply but think it's unlikely. Sorry.

Hi Guys, did you decide whether you wanted to transfer across to Catford? If you could let me know either way i'd be grateful as i have other people wanting the pitch, but wanted to give you first choice. Cheers Kev

As I've been away for a few weeks, can you please confirm what time is KO tonight? Cheers

Good to hear you are still about Sydders, it's 8:30 ko as usual.
Looking like 6-a-side, at least both sides will be equally knackered!

Slightly concerned on earlier talk of Big Phil's tackle. :D

In for next week.
Anyone fancy an evening game against a Firebox team, near Liverpool St. later this month? Would be fives as there's no sevens, apparently. Let me know interest and we'll get something organised.

Good job re: the job Alex.

I'd be up for a Monday night game JoeP but I cannot do the two Mondays after next as I'll be in Singapore and then China for business. Although I might re-schedule Singapore due to not wanting to leave Charlotte for too long*.

PLEASE, PLEASE tell me Alex isn't going to win the Golden Boot!?!? I genuinely couldn't bear it... :D

*Charlotte Emily Whitehead born 25th October at 10:05AM. 6lbs 14oz [then] of beauty.

She looks like her Daddy - lucky girl!!! She eats and sleeps like him too...lucky Daddy!

Congtrats all round guys, that's great news from the pair of you!
Good also to hear there's an appetite for another game during the week. I'll talk to the boys here, suggest a Monday night, get numbers and then work out a date and come back to you.

Congrats Greg, welcome to the club!
Congrats Alex, the interview clearly did go well!
4 for me this week.
In for next Wed.

I found about £1.30 stacked in a little pile around where a few of us were sitting having a drink after Wednesday's game, is it any of yours?

I think the majority are drifting towards a preference to go to the Palace for our Christmas 'do', we should settle on where we are going over the next week or so.
There's a couple of Thai places up there, I haven't been to either:

Or the Paxton (formerly the Mansion) has just opened, offers gastropub food options and looks like it's been nicely done up.

I don't trust Upper Norwood; never have...never will.
In fact, when I rarely venture to Upper Norwood I find everyone is from Sydders! It's people from Sydders who keep the few decent places there going...

My vote would be for Lesser Dulwich. Some good gastropubs there. You get some decent frottage in Lesser [East] Dulwich too*.

Plus, a 176 from Lordship Lane will whisk us quickly back rather than waiting all night for a 202 on that dodgy stretch of road by Upper Norwood bus station.

*Not that I am in any way shape of form interested these days.

Are you sure it was really him and not Darren Brown making you think it was Ben ? ;-)
