Hi,

I've recently moved to Sydenham and am looking to get involved with some football!

Wondered if someone could fill me in on the basics - where/when/what the standard is like etc! Are you looking for new players at all?

Have played most of my life (now 29) to a pretty good standard, but work commitments etc mean I've barely kicked a ball in the last year or so.

Realise the info I'm after has probably been posted many times before, but the thought of scrolling through 4,500 posts is a bit much!

I sincerely hope that whichever Arsenal fan struck a few years ago and made the entire spurs squad ill before the final game of the season manages to slip something to Bale before Sunday. Otherwise we've had it :p

Since I've been down that's a record early entry from FLETCH!!

I'm going to help ease the numbers a bit tonight...woke up feeling rough as a badger and despite hoping I'd rally a bit, it's not happened and so I'd best give it a miss.
