NSPCC Open Day Sunday Sept 4th

Post by Tim Lund »

It's that time of year again, when you can support a good cause with the modest outlay of £1.50 - is this the best value such event there is? - and see the NSPCC / Kent House Leisure Gardens September Open Day - accompanied children free.

The entrance is from the lane between 91 & 93 Kent House Road, opposite Woodbastwick Road, and the show lasts from 11.00 - 3.00.

The usual attractions -
  • Fruit and veg show
  • Produce stalls
  • Teas with home made cakes
  • Barbecue
  • Beekeeping demos
  • Bric-a-brac, books
  • Tombola
The ever popular balalaika band will be performing from 12.00

I'll probably be around most of the time - it'd be nice to see any of you down there. If we've not met, then ask for me - somebody will be able to point me out. Unlikely to be in the winners' enclosure for the fruit & veg show :D
