Rosemary (and lavender) beetle

Someone posted about this beetle on one of the FH forums and quite a few people have found it on their lavender and rosemary plants. According to the RHS site the beetle has been in London for a while but this is the first time I’ve come across them. If you do decide to hand pick them, put something underneath to catch them because they fall off the plant easily.

Just found one of these on my lavender bush this evening. Silly me had an idea it was a ladybird, until my son pointed out it was a beetle!!!!
