Can anyone recommend a good used car dealer in or nearish Sydenham? LSDM cars near Bell Green seems a bit overpriced for what are essentially old bangers.

You could see if the Hayes Motor Co at Beckenham has anything. As far as I know, they prefer to deal in low mileage cars, but I guess they don't give them away for pennies: http://dealerservices.autotrader.co.uk/ ... owroom.htm I've used them and found them fuss free and matter of fact but might not have a high turnover of used cars to choose from.
There's a Skoda garage not that far further which sells all brands of used cars: http://www.elmsideskoda.co.uk/ Also a Peugeot one but not sure if they do used or just new.
If on foot, the 194 bus will take you to the first and stops in spitting distance of the other two.
