Drainpipe repair?

Post by orgone »

Hello Town Cafe

I need someone to repair a leaky outside drainpipe joint, preferably someone not afraid of heights (say 25') and willing to work safely up a ladder rather than ringing my place in scaffolding for a week.

thanks!

Hello Orgone
I just noticed your post by chance.
Can you please explain a bit further the problem?
Is your leakage on a vertical pipe or is it horizontal guttering?
Would you happen to know whether the pipework is cast iron or plastic?
Cheers

Discovered that the council will help out with repairs (to what extent i don't know) but this should help in getting it done. In answer to your questions: plastic pipe, horizontal section. Actually all the plumbing above our front door has taken a turn for the worse, so I'm best off leaving it to people who do it for a living now. Thanks for your reply!

Your Drainpipes

Hello Cal
That's good news the council will be taking care of your problem.
I would imagine after the council perform their original survey, the work shouldn't take too long. It will probably be completed in a day. To set your mind at ease, I shouldn't think you will suffer the use of scaffolding around your property.
Regards
Lemonade.
