Thanks for that - never realised how bluesy Hendrix could be. So to move further back in time ...

My mum once commented to me about Hendrix that she never knew what a fantastic musician he was because all they got to see was him smashing up and setting fire to his guitar at Monterey.

A lot of people I've met have told me that Hendrix was crap :x I just accept their ignorance and move on.
