Introducing Private Messaging

If you look up at the menu you will now see:

* You have (no) new messages ....

I have enabled private messaging on an experimental basis. Any logged in member may now send a private message to any member of the list. Just click on the PM buttom under each post or in the Memberlist.

Why? Well sometimes it is appropriate for a conversation to be taken off-forum without revealing your email address. However I hope you will continue to post in public as much as possible.

I trust this feature will be used with discretion. I would particulary ask that you do not PM anything that could be regarded as 'spam/unsolicited commercial email".

Please do report back to me any comments or abuse by other members. If you do not wish to be notified by email of new messages - please amend your profile to disable this...
