HIGH STREET REVIEWS

Post by leenewham »

Have you seen any good reviews about Sydenham/Kirkdale high street businesses on other blogs etc?

If so, why not share them. This is one I found about On THe Hoof which is really positive (and nicely written).

Lee
Excellent idea - i was thinking of doing a review myself of the wonderful street food I had from Himalayan Kitchen's stall at Queensthorpe Square last Saturday.
Seriously there are some encouraging reviews about Sydenham , I remember one a few years back from The Independent about SAF - it is a welcome encouragement to all those who either bring or support good things to Sydenham and therefore we'll worth doing.
A very good evening

A friend (who lives in West London) sent this to me.
He was impressed but I saw who the authors were. Still good PR for Sydenham though!

It's essentially a property magazine, so the article was written by an estate agents to make the area they deal with sound sexier. Please lets now get sidetracked by this.

As we don't have a traders site or review section like some other sites It bought i'd crowd source reviews on the net from the good people of this forum.

Any more reviews of local businesses or events etc? Perhaps someone from the arts festival would like to post here or someone from see3 would like to post a review of fashion week or other reviews?

I think this thread is a really positive idea. People reading what is posted can judge for themselves re context and influences but overall it provides information on businesses and events which has to be good. It would be great too if SEE 3 for instance used the forum to both advertise and review events too.

Meanwhile I STILL cant work out how to post links either on my phone or my laptop, and with little time to think about it, so despite knowing of some possible reviews to post, I still cant join in! :?

Pally - you click the URL button above the text box, then paste the link in the middle, where the cursor appears.

We are blessed with a few good restaurants now, our favourite Indian is the Lemon Tree (Ghurkas is great too). Looks like we aren't alone:
