Openair evening celebrating some of the finest film soundtracks of jazz, performance, film, food and craft beers.

Following the success of last year’s openair film screening of ‘The Wizard of Oz’ we invite you to join us for an extra special evening celebrating another film classic and the music that makes films unforgettable!
Whilst blankets are laid, picnic baskets are opened, and bottles are uncorked listen to GEM’s Performing Arts singing tracks from ‘Bugsy Malone’. Red Hot and Blue make a welcome return to the stage with a programme of songs which accompanied the early silent films to their versions of numbers which are part of tonight’s film ‘Some Like It Hot’, a film which revolves around jazz including memorable songs still played by bands today.
The jewel in the evenings crown will be the joyous Billy Wilder comedy Some Like It Hot featuring comedy legends Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis and the ever pouting Marilyn Monroe.
Catering to your every need our partners Beer Rebellion Sydenham and Brown & Green Cafe will be adding a little extra to the Mayow Park Bowling Green with pop up stalls sellling delicious craft beers and scrumptious food to suit grownups and kids alike!
