It can only be the Kent House Leisure Gardens May Open Day, this coming Sunday, 11.00 - 3.00, entrance between 91 & 93 Kent House Road (opposite Woodbastwick Road), and also from Fairlawn Park.
The live music is the Balalaika Band, with one of our members on accordion http://www.balalaikalondon.co.uk/band.htm, followed by a jazz sax / guitar duo who know each other from student days at Guildhall School of music.
As well as the usual - plant sales, lunches, teas, stalls, etc. we have displays of tai chi and some martial art - can't remember the name at the moment. I'll be doing a guided tour of the site at about 12.00. And now here's the full programme - http://www.khlga.com/OpenDayMay08.html
Entrance is £2, of which £1 will go to St. Christopher's Hospice.
