Architect wanted

Post by Papa Lazarou »

hello sydenham,

We're planning on doing some building work on our house over the next year or so. An extension or possibly a loft conversion. Can anyone recommend a good architect (practicle and reasonably priced) to talk to who has got experience dealing with Lewisham council planning and the local housing stock. Whilst we're talking about it, some names of reliable builders would be good too.

What a great local web-site!

Thanks for your help.

Hi PL

this is the website of a builder based in Sydenham:

http://www.stepwisebuilding.com/

as for architects, Thomas Ford in Kirkdale is long-established, and specialises in heritage and conservation work; another practise is McAleer Projects who are based in Lee - they did the new development in Berryman's Lane which I think is stunning.

Good luck!
