Toad trap, SE26

Post by Tim Lund »

I don't understand. Why do toads keep falling into the old plastic tank I use to collect rainwater from my greenhouse? Last week I rescued four little ones. This morning this whopper.

We've put a plank for it to clamber out, but it seems to be a toad of little brain.

Tim,

your picture reminds me of a toad I saw when I was little who had lost his way too...

Tim

A plank? Surely it needs a tad pole to climb. :)

Mind you, wouldn't some netting stop them getting in there in the first place. Just a thought.
