Hadn't posted as I'm unable to play tonight. Preparing for Big Phil's return to Sydenham.

In for next week though.

I can't do this Monday, but would be interested in occasional Monday games in the future, provided they're in central London or the Sydenham area. Thanks for the invitation.

enjoyed my return to football last night and my back held up okay thankfully! Both Sean and I in for next week.

Can't do this monday Xav but thanks for the invite.

Alex has done a great job of organising and washing the kit week in week out for ages and deserves a break. Any volunteers to take this over? The pitch is now booked on a rolling ten week contract so youonly need to deal with goals if we downgrade to the 5's or cancel

In for Wednesday.

Here's a question; how many of us work in and around the City? Would there be interest in either playing on another night or even moving the Wednesday game to a new location?
Just asking...not committing heresy, Firebox has just moved to Shoreditch, which means in theory we could get some extra players if there was a chance of a 2nd game or new venue.

Any opinions/views welcome.

Cheers

I work in the city (about 50 yds from St Paul's). I wouldn't call Shoreditch the city but it's close enough...and handy enough to get home on the tube from!? They've got some pitches near to the town hall in Shoreditch?

Well, no you're right; it's not really the City but close enough and yes there are pitches near Liverpool St.

Sorry Sean is a no for this week.

Joe P - welcome to the neighbourhood! I'd be up for a regular game in the city but would also like to keep wednesdays in sydenham.
