Tamnag gets my vote out of those two but The Italian place Lorenzo,s opposite Joanna,s is top banana and they have a separate dining area for functions/rowdy mobs/common people down stairs ... Just a thought. ;-).

cheers steve!

I will look into that one, and plus they offer us a private room for free!

Sunday to Thursday we offer free exclusive use for our 'Capri' room with a minimum of 20 guests dining.

and a christmas party set menu aswel if people wanna

http://www.lorenzo.uk.com/christmas-parties.shtml

I think this might be the place for the free venue room and food looks good aswel!

In for next week's footy.
In for the 7th meal, Lorenzos and the room sounds like a great option assuming we hit 20 people.
2 goals for me (damn you and your goalkeeping skills Gus.... :D )

I put a few comedy suggestions a few weeks back will dig them out and PM you Alex.

I have booked us in Lorenzo's!

We have the private room from 8pm! the room will be ready from 7:30 so we can turn up and have drinks

we need 20 people! hopefully that wont be a problem!!! and i need to pay £10 per head deposit which i will pay myself ( no its not a christmas gift from me) so i expect it back!

We can choose from the menu but it will be a lot of work for the staff and to bring it all at the same time will be very hard, so we will stick to the set menu?? it looks good to me!

http://www.lorenzo.uk.com/christmas-parties.shtml

but if u want the menu, let me know ASAP!!

Lorenzos sounds perfect and menu is fine by me. I'll chase Tarbs and sean for confirmation.

With a heavy heart I fear my playing days are well and truly over, I have major back trouble with slipped disk, damaged verterbrae and general disc degeneration. Shouldn't have came back so soon after the first time it happened! I'm getting treatment and who knows I may return but certainly not until after the wedding early next year.

Its been emotional

None for me this week. And apologies for being off the pace (more than usual). My enforced lay off hasn't helped my 'fitness'.

Most own goals? Actually, that might be me, so perhaps not!

Most shots over the fence?

Cheers, Alex. Set menu fine with me. I'll see if Aidan can make it.

Sad to see I've been out-voted on Upper Norwood but at least it'll be a decent crowd so I suppose it doesn't matter where we are; even if it's somewhere I don't rate.

Anyhoo - I'm a shoe-in for POTY? Aren't I? A heady mix of Souness' tackling with Hansen's defending all wrapped up in a smouldering P.Maldini visage and topped off with John Terry's pace!

Seriously, I'm still hungover as I was at the bridge yesterday watching the boys spank the chavs. I then spent the evening at the Royal Hospital as a guest of theirs in their member's bar. I blame the booze/old-age for them all falling asleep on me! Nothing to do with me being larruped and more incoherent than normal!!!

Matt sorry about the bad news mate! hopefully your come back soon...

The PRATS at goals booked us in for 9-10 this week! so hopefully this wont be a problem as we normally play until 10 anyway!!! just back sure Guz knows! so if you have his number tell him, otherwise please pass this on if you have numbers to save players turning up and no one being there!

we are on the 5's pitch this week! i guess to stay on the 7's we need to start looking for new players as we are just about getting 10 each week, i dont want to block book the 7's pitch and have only 10players! so hopefully we will see afew new face's they will turn up every week!

so far we have lost

tarbs
matt
ben red
nick
dave
adian
greg for a while

so we need replacements

ALSO confirm the 7th as i am paying for it this week!!
