Hi Barry. Any chance of a lift from Penge East this week? Thanks, Rob.

Absolutely. We meet in the bar at Goals on Copers Cope Road, BR3 1NZ at 8:20pm. You'll need trainers (not studs); shinpads optional but recommended. It's £8 each - correct change appreciated!

We should be easy to spot, but I'll be the one wearing an Umbro sweatshirt or Reading FC shirt.

This is all getting confusing. Are we posting in the forum or confirming by text? As I replied to Al this morning, I'm in.

No idea. I didn't hear from Al this morning, and I know he's a busy man, so thought I'd better get things moving on the forum.

I'd say it's best to post on the forum to be sure of your place, but then I'm not in charge... It's up to Al.

Looks like we're 12. Not including the gaffer.

Perhaps he's trying to force the issue by going dark on us? That way we can sort out the gaffership [?] rather than him asking for someone new to take over and most going silent.

And no, that's not me throwing my hat into the ring - I've done my time. As admittedly have others.

I like it when space is tight. Allows me to show off me tekkers, innit.

I've decided I'm the 5-a-side equivalent of Darren 'Gibbo' Gibson. Sh*te, really sh*te but with a bullet shot. Hey, it never stopped him getting a game for the Manks and now the bitters!?

Morning,

To help out with numbers, I'll step aside tonight. It turns out that moving house during the European Championships isn't a great idea, and as a result I've spent the last week and a half being about as productive as James Milner, so I should probably take advantage of the night off and get some DIY done.

Thanks for accommodating me though and I look forward to my debut soon!
