Takes me about 40 minutes to Central London. Up Sydenham Hill > Dulwich Park > Herne Hill > Brixton > Westminster

A dawdle, if a bit of a pain getting up that hill every day.

It may be quicker and safer to go by the cycle route which crosses the railway by the footbridge Eddystone Road / Brockley Rise

Thats the route I take. Fairly quiet, until Old Kent Road, then I nip into Bermondsey, until I reach Jamaica Road. Accident was on Hollydale, outside a school. Complete carelessness on her part, illegally parked. I usually cycle a door width out, but had moved in to pass a oncoming vehicle. After 25 years, its my second severe, confidence has taken quite a knock.

Not sure about that but coming home in the evening there is a notable drop in the standard of driving as soon as you enter Lewisham.
