Cheers Trickster and Bazwaldo.

We're now 13 (I'd imagine Gus will be on later today making us 14) so I've booked the 7-a-side.

Yes, Ali, 8.30 start.

@ Marathon. First name on the teamsheet for the 25th. Good to have you back.

Anyone else lurking to a) make us up to a nice round 16 and b) break our record attendance?

Good game last night. Apologies to the colours who had - at one point - 3 players off injured/knackered so instead of being one man up as I'd originally intended it didn't always work out that way. That's why I swopped Droidy over to try and balance it out...

Anyhoo; please post availablity for the 25th:

1, Marathon
2, Ulysses

You get a 5% discount currently if you book the 7-a-side pitch in advance so I have done so for next week. Games like last night really helps swell the kitty; we 'made' £22 pounds last night as we took £105 and laid out £83 for the pitch. The kitty is sitting at £58 as a result - much healthier. Another few weeks of this and we can do The Dolphin night out or a free game?

Enjoyed the game last night, despite the fact that we got the runaround a bit. Good to play with Bazwaldo for only the second time ever.

I'm IN for next week, 25th August.

Can I request that DiamondMaker and I play in the same team next week, so we can (hopefully) avoid kicking each other again : )

No problem on the request.

If anyone does have any preference/observations then please just have a word in my shell-like. I get so caught up in trying to balance the teams out by keeping certain players apart that I'll admit I might end up playing the same old players together each week.

If you feel this is the case then just grab me as I am walking around. I won't take offence. You pay £6/£7 for your enjoyment, after all.

Lastly, we appearto be missing a bib. No biggie but if it made it's way home with someone please bring it with you next week. It'd be good to have it laundered as I'm doing the rest this weekend - you should smell them after a few uses!

In for next week.

Apologies to Columbus for my petulence last night - Biscuitman bet me £50 I couldn't start a fight, then went off "injured" to film the results.......

...and there was me thinking I was the only one that engaged in a bit of 'handbags' last night! :D
Yes, a rare treat to pay alongside Columbus in the centre of the park, felt like quite a work out last night, although don't believe the two are related!

I am in for next Wednesday.

Well; we're 7 by (not yet) E.O.B. on Friday afternoon. Impressive stuff Gents.

With that in mind if anyone's reading over the weekend just post yay or nay. It'd be so lovely to know come Monday that we're enough to cover my presumptious (5% discount, don't forget) booking of the 7s for next week.

Then you're over to Miguel Nadal (also known as Aidan or 'Diamondmaker') for the 2 weeks I'm in Canada...perhaps longer if you prefer him.

I won't know until Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning if I can make it this week, so please assume I'm a 'no'.

If I find I can make it I'll come along if there's still space.
