I am a decendant of Scudders of Sydenham, I would welcome contact from anybody with info on Scudders,
They were in Sydenham well back,
main names are Thomas, John and Samuel.
There was once an Inn called Scudder, I believe this is now the Woodman,
There was also a Scudder Row
My current brick wall is Thomas Scudder married an Ann about end of 1700s. were the parent of
John Scudder b 1804 Sydenham Married Ann Quin of Beckenham were my 3rd Gt Grandparents,

My partners name is Skipper but his mums maiden name was Scudder.
She lives in Catford now but lived most of her life in and around Perry Hill/ Bell Green area of Sydenham
