Ladder to borrow and Carpenter/Builder to find

Post by pekingduck »

Hi,
Not sure if anyone can help but I am looking to borrow a ladder which will reach our gutters as they need cleaning out and I don't really want to have to buy one for a one off job like this. Can anyone help ?

Also, I am looking for a carpenter/builder in the area that can replace a lantern skylight, and someone who can plaster. If anyone can recommend someone I would really appreciate it.

Thanks !

I don't own any ladders myself (the HSE frown upon them for work over 2 metres in height) but have you considered hiring a set?

Try:
Rent-a-Tool, Forest Hill 8291 8080
HSS Hire, Dulwich 8299 1800
HSS Hire, Elmers End 8658 5877

Their rates are quite reasonable (ask for a weekend deal) and they all deliver to site.

Or maybe the contractor who does your skylight will do the job for you if you ask him nicely!

Good luck.
