I'm also out this week - looks like another cancellation unfortunately for this week. I intend on playing next week though.

Cheers
Jim

Lem, can you remember what the situation is with regard to number of cancellations in one 'term'? I think we're allowed two...but not 100%. It may be we have to pay for the pitch this week.

By the way, am going to stand down as manager. I've been doing it since January and with my gippy leg not showing much sign of healing properly, I'm not sure yet when I will return.

Someone else needs to have a stab at it.

I can play but assume we are too low on numbers

Well if you can get to five, Goals will try and find another 5 to play against...

But since no-one seems to be available/posting, I'm not sure how feasible that is. Got until 7.30 to decide.

Sadly I think it's best to cancel again, even if that does mean incurring a cost.

I will rally the troops for next week and try to recruit some new players.

Any volunteers to succeed Joe Pineapples as boss? It's really just a case of collecting the money, paying the match fee and picking two teams (with assistance if required), but I'm counting myself out having done it twice before.

Managed to cancel it at no cost last night; presume you got the text Nige?
Next week is the last of the 7s block booking so if we want to continue, we need to decide quickly and with some commitment. Can everyone post please.

I'm back fr next Wednesday. Count me in please and I'm willing to continue on 7's pitch.
Only missed last week due to work commitments and I have to do it again tonight.
I'll ask Jimmy if he's still interested.
Cheers

Please confirm asap for Wednesday 24 July, gents, and ideally by lunchtime on Monday. I'm in.

Gents, we've been discussing nights out recently; here's a list of rooftop bars we could consider:

I reckon the Shoreditch bars would be best - easy to get back to Sydenham on the Overground. I take it none of them are too wildly expensive? Would be a shame to count people out if it's ten quid a pint. Actually, if it's ten quid a pint then I'd count myself out! Happy to do some digging if you're not sure.

Hello all, sorry for the prolonged silence but a scan has recently revealed that have cruciate ligament damage in left knee, just requires physio work & they've said should be able to play in 8 weeks. Am still fully able to walk up stairs and drink on rooftop bars though. :)
