Simon:

Since there are going to be 'in the flesh' hustings on both Thursday 22 Apr and Thursday 29 April, I wonder whether SCR will want to cover these live?

Tim:
While we would very much like to cover the hustings live, we do not have the necessary outside broadcast equipment, nor the funds to buy it.
Hopefully, we will be able to cover the next hustings live.

Just for accuracy, I should say that it is Stephen Locke who is the Liberal Democrat candidate being interviewed on Thursday.

Just a reminder that our series of election specials continues tomorrow (Thursday) from 7-8pm.

This time, it's the turn of the Green party to be interviewed live.

Should you have any questions for their representative, feel free to email them in to studio@sydenhamradio.co.uk; it's worth doing this in advance, because we occasionally find that mail can get stuck in the system and arrive too late for use.

Even if you don't have a question, listen in to find out what the Greens could do for you.

Our special election broadcasts are now complete, so I would like to thank, on behalf of SCR, all those who took part, including the candidates from the various parties that agreed to be interviewed, and the members of the public that took the time to send in questions.

We hope that everyone concerned feels, as we do, that they were treated in a fair and reasonable fashion, and that they were given as much opportunity as possible, to air their views and policies.

Should anyone wish to review these interviews, those that were conducted with the Labour, Lib Dem and Green parties, are currently available via the 'listen again' feature on our website; the latest interview, with Conservative candidate Ross Archer, should be available within the next 48 hours.

Once again, we would like to thank everyone who contributed to these broadcasts, and we look forward to covering, with your support, many more important local issues and events.
