Zanzibar Public Meeting - 7pm Wednesday 23 July

Seems there has been a misunderstanding on the publicity for this meeting tomorrow evening - 7pm at the Grove Centre in Jews Walk to discuss ongoing issues.

Lewisham Licensing Officers will be attending to explain the current position and the appeal put in by Zanzibar against the 2pm close.

We would like residents to share their comments - both negative and positive.

So please take the time to understand the issues and provide further feedback for the Licensing Team.

As your local Councillor I will be welcoming you and will be attending the appeal hearing in September.

I love the notices! "Do not urinate in their Garden or fence? Nice!
The fact they need to remind the patrons of the need for respect of other people's right to have peace and quiet and clean surroundings should be enough to shut this place down on its own!

I agree Annie and why were not these signs put up when trouble first started.

There is NO WAY this place should be allowed to continue opening.
